My Projects

This is what I’m working on!

HOMEWORLD

Abigail, a modern-day nineteen-year-old who has struggled her entire life to fit in, undergoes a genetic transformation to treat her illness and becomes super-enhanced. After the change, she gains unusual abilities that lead her to become the key to saving Earth’s future and a link to humanity’s ancient past. Ironically, her alteration makes it harder to fit in, but she does make a few new friends, including a mysterious alien broadcaster who is sending vital information to get humans into space on a new, advanced ship. Abigail makes history by piloting the first space mission to go farther than any previous space mission had gone before—Mars.

With a crew of two new friends, Silas and Gavin, who are each brilliant in their own way, Abigail pilots an expedition to pick up her pen pal, who turns out to be more alien than she expected. A trip within the solar system becomes interstellar when their new shipmate requires them to travel to the Kronos system to perform a rescue of a species whose planet is spiraling to its doom and who may also be linked to Earth’s ancient past. Earth will never be the same once Abigail and her friends return home with half a million alien refugees.

See Earth through the eyes of ancient colonists who are determined to build a civilization on an exotic foreign landscape where life is incredibly diverse and abundant, sky water falls, and the oceans are filled with magnificent and intelligent creatures. Will they repeat the mistakes they made on their Homeworld that led to its destruction, or will they find their place within the rich and balanced ecology of a new world?

REVOLUTION WORLD

In the sequel to HOMEWORLD, Abigail and her friends travel to explore a new system where the Taurians are headed to start a new colony only to find a deadly alien life form they have no way of communicating with. How can they let it know that they come in peace? The humans and Taurians wish to colonize this new world, but that won’t be possible if the local life is hostile and out to kill anyone who dares to make first contact.

Tkla has an insuppressible feeling his people in the Taurian convoy who are en route to their colony planet are in trouble. The crew tracks them down and faces peril in multiple attempts to save them from a super dense neutron fragment that traps every thing in its path and alters time and space so every attempt has an unexpected result. Escape is futile.

On Earth, Abigail’s younger brother, coerces Dr. Cynthia Roberts into performing the same genetic treatment she performed on his older sister. He uses his new abilities to take a different path than Abigail’s. He’s not interested in being a hero or saving the world, and Big Sister is not there to keep an eye on him because she’s busy with her missions to make a hostile world habitable, rescue the Taurians from an eminent black hole, and save the world, which is on the verge of civil and global war. Abigail’s efforts to unite the world may very well backfire and the people of Earth may become more divided than ever.

GODWORLD

In this third installment of the HOMEWORLD series, a mysterious signal has been detected containing three words that could have only come from Abigail’s recently departed friend. How can it be that this message is being transmitted from somewhere in outer space? Abigail is convinced the message is authentic, and she formulates a plan to follow the signal, but it may be a suicide mission because the signal is coming from the center of the sun!

Abigail has two friends, Silas and Gavin, who would follow her to the end of the universe, but even they have reservations about the destination of this trip: the blazing furnace at the center of our solar system.

Before our heroes can embark on any rescue missions, they have an eminent meteor impact to deal with that accidentally sends them on a blast jump into oblivion. They are worse than lost in space; they are no longer on the space-time continuum. Abigail and her friends are in a place where time and space do not even exist. Their challenge is to find a way home and back into existence, while maintaining their sanities. Time is no longer a linear and predictable thing. If only getting home were as simple as clicking their heals together and saying, “There’s no place like home.”

Let’s build something together.
